Why Do I Need A List?

First of all when people mentioned the word ‘list’ I thought to myself what are you talking about?

So what is a list?

  • Simply they are people’s email address that have been captured through a squeeze page or how others refer to it as opt-in page.  These people have left their email address in exchange for some information that you were providing to them.

Why do we need a list?

  • Once you have peoples email addresses captured, what you are able to then do is send them free information of other offers or products for them to buy.
    Once you have a reasonable size list of peoples email addresses you are literally able to make money through sending one email to that list.

How Do I Record The Interview?

When conducting an interview over the phone obviously you want to be able to record this information and be able to sell it.

A great program to use is Audacity its a free program that you can download from the Internet. Click Here! to download Audacity.

Once installed on your computer its as simple as pressing the record button to record over the interview over the internet.

What it then also allows you to do is edit the recording, so if there were parts in there you do not like either background noise, coughs, ums and ahhs then you can simply remove those noises from your file.

  • Ensure that its a relaxed and informal
  • Get the first Interview out of the way
  • Ask Open ended questions
  • Use the power of the pause – (this technique alone will get the interviewee to  reveal all).

Some questions to ask:

  • Whats so good about……….?
  • What are the top 3 things that someone should know in order to be successful in……….?
  • Whats the best way to get started……….?
  • How much experience does a person need to……….?
  • What are some of the common problems that people experience in…………..?

How To Turn a $30 Product Into A $300 Dollar Product

The key to this is to add more value to the product, for example if you interviewed an expert on how to buy homes at 40 percent below sales price you could sell that interview for $30.

If you interviewed 3 more experts in other areas about real estate you could package this all together and sell it for a lot more.

The value of your one product has just increased by doing something a bit different. Do you think property investors would be interested in learning about all these tips from these experts?

Essentially this advice could save your potential buyers thousands.

Finding A Hot Niche Market

I’ve learned that its important to research what the market wants before creating your product.
Search for something that prompts an emotional reaction within the market especially a problem that people would pay to have solved.

If people are really passionate about it then it is considered a hot niche market.
The Internet has made it easy for you to do your research, here are some tips for researching your hot niche:

1. Search for keywords that people are searching for now when they type them in the search engines such as Google.  www.wordtracker.com is a great tool for eliminating the weaker searched keywords right from the start. Look for high interest 20-40 thousand searches but with low competition.

2.Visit social networking sites, if you go to www.ning.com you will find groups of people in different social networks talking about all sorts of things. Join various groups and listen to what people are talking about.
You may notice certain problems or questions that keep popping up, instantly you could find a hot niche market that you could provide a solution to those problems.

3. Visit forums and blogs, if you type in ‘(your topic) blogs’ or ‘(your topic) forums’ into the search engine you will find various discussion groups that you could tune into and help provide solutions to their problems.

Information Overload!!!

When I started Internet Marketing I was astounded at the information that was available and I found myself getting side tracked and going all over the place thinking to myself what about this or this sounds good I’ll give that a try.

With no direction and focus I was accomplishing nothing very fast and found myself feeling deflated and out of pocket.

I had no doubt this stuff worked and it wasn’t until I focused on one thing which was promoting a product through affiliate marketing I was able to make my first sale. It wasn’t until then that it became real to me.

You can get so bombarded and distracted with the information that you can be all caught up in the hype and lose focus, and if you’re not careful end up giving up altogether thinking this stuff doesn’t work.

What I would suggest is that you find a mentor and a proven system that works and stick with it. Forget everything else you’ll just get side tracked, focus on that one system and do it one step at a time.

But be patient the success will come, remember this is not a get quick rich scheme regardless of what some people may think. You are building a sustainable Internet business that will pay you again and again.

Can You Solve A Problem?

3. Can you solve a problem?

Are you the type of person that can see whats wrong with a situation and come up with solutions for it? If so you should write down these problems and solutions. If your not then you can be.

Do you ever get annoyed when things don’t work properly? Do you ask yourself why did that happen?

Do you get frustrated with certain things? If so you could be staring at an information product right in the face.
If you can solve a persons problem or have a better understanding of something you could hold the the solution to peoples problems.

Write down 5 every day problems or frustrations you have.

Then list the best solutions you can think of to solve those problems.

All we are doing is just capturing ideas and putting it down on paper.
